No. Miss Saline is an Ambassador for the community. We are looking for a positive role model - one who is well-spoken and a confident individual who can relate to people of all ages.
Yes, grades will be used in the judging process. You will be asked to submit an copy of your transcripts early on in the process.
Yes. Miss Saline is a leader so we expect contestants to have some form of leadership in their high school or community.
Yes. We ask that you supply two references with emails and phone numbers so they may be contacted prior to prelims.
Yes. You are required to attend Preliminaries and the Miss Saline event at Summerfest.

An evening gown and shoes that you have practiced walking in.

No. We will consider all contestants who wish to use the scholarship money to further their education. This could be a 4-year in or out of state school, a 2-year community college, a trade school or certificate program.
