Miss Saline has been a leader in the Saline community for over 70 years, devoting time to bringing the community together in a positive way. As an ambassador, Miss Saline works throughout the year to highlight local and school events, visits small businesses, and encourages youth involvement. Scholarships are awarded to contestants on the Court.

Eligibility

High school juniors or seniors who graduate in 2026 or 2027, and who live in the Saline school district, are eligible to compete for scholarships. In addition to receiving scholarship funds, Miss Saline will receive professional portraits from our official photographer, Heidi McClelland, and will crown the next year's Miss Saline the following August. As the year comes to an end, the scholarship funds will be delivered to the college, trade school, or certification program that Miss Saline will be attending.

What to expect

Applications are due by June 1st, 2025. The Miss Saline Scholarship Pageant events take place during the week before, and at, Summerfest in Downtown Saline. In-person interviews will take place Sunday, August 3rd, and are required. Contestants will also learn a choreographed opening number on or around August 5-7th. At the Summerfest event, contestants will model an evening gown of choice, participate in the opening number, and answer two on-stage questions. There will also be an optional Stuff The Bus volunteer opportunity for Saline Area Social Services during that week.
